Fourth of July!

Our favorite Fourth of July tradition is the Jenning's Family 4th of July party! We like to start by participating in their neighborhood parade. The girls both rode their bikes this year. Although eventually, little Sydney (and mom) were passed by everyone (including the police car) and Shane had to come looking for us so we could find our way home!

We then move on to playing some intense badminton...

And we end the evening watching some great fireworks at the neighborhood lake. It is always a fun filled day!

Half Marathon Survivors

Cory, Dad and I ran the Seattle Rock 'n Roll Half Marathon in June. It was a perfect day for running and we are looking forward to running it again next year!

Sydney Turns Three!

Sydney celebrated turning 3 with an outdoor Dora the Explorer birthday party!

We lucked out that the weather was so nice!

And we were lucky so many of our friends could celebrate with us. We hope everybody had a great time!

Siena loses her first tooth!

Siena lost her first tooth in June! I can't believe she is old enough to lose a tooth!

Mariner's Game

It has become a tradition to go to a Mariner's Game each time Cory's Dad and Grandfather visit and this year was no exception! We even talked my dad and our friends Shane and Julie, along with their two boys, Sam and Max and Shane's dad Craig into joining us.

Cory loves to take the girls to visit the Mariner Moose. And yes, Sydney is in this picture, you just can't see her because she is hiding behind Siena and screaming in terror!

Visit from the Grandparents

Cory's grandparents made their annual drive up from SLC to visit the great-grandkids in June and Cory's dad flew up from Phoenix to join in the festivities. The girls always enjoy all the extra attention!

Dance Recital 2009

Both girls performed in the dance recital this year. Sydney was a Blue Jay and Siena was a princess (of course). Each did a great job singing and dancing. We were shocked that neither seemed to have much trouble with stage fright!
