Fourth of July!

Our favorite Fourth of July tradition is the Jenning's Family 4th of July party! We like to start by participating in their neighborhood parade. The girls both rode their bikes this year. Although eventually, little Sydney (and mom) were passed by everyone (including the police car) and Shane had to come looking for us so we could find our way home!

We then move on to playing some intense badminton...

And we end the evening watching some great fireworks at the neighborhood lake. It is always a fun filled day!

Half Marathon Survivors

Cory, Dad and I ran the Seattle Rock 'n Roll Half Marathon in June. It was a perfect day for running and we are looking forward to running it again next year!

Sydney Turns Three!

Sydney celebrated turning 3 with an outdoor Dora the Explorer birthday party!

We lucked out that the weather was so nice!

And we were lucky so many of our friends could celebrate with us. We hope everybody had a great time!

Siena loses her first tooth!

Siena lost her first tooth in June! I can't believe she is old enough to lose a tooth!

Mariner's Game

It has become a tradition to go to a Mariner's Game each time Cory's Dad and Grandfather visit and this year was no exception! We even talked my dad and our friends Shane and Julie, along with their two boys, Sam and Max and Shane's dad Craig into joining us.

Cory loves to take the girls to visit the Mariner Moose. And yes, Sydney is in this picture, you just can't see her because she is hiding behind Siena and screaming in terror!

Visit from the Grandparents

Cory's grandparents made their annual drive up from SLC to visit the great-grandkids in June and Cory's dad flew up from Phoenix to join in the festivities. The girls always enjoy all the extra attention!

Dance Recital 2009

Both girls performed in the dance recital this year. Sydney was a Blue Jay and Siena was a princess (of course). Each did a great job singing and dancing. We were shocked that neither seemed to have much trouble with stage fright!

Siena's Preschool Graduation

Siena graduated this year! Okay, she is not actually in school yet. But that did not stop her from having a graduation celebration for completing preschool! Ridiculous? Yes. But still very cute!

Cory visits SLC

Cory took a little mini vacation by flying to SLC to catch a concert with Xan and a round of golf with Poobah (his grandfather.) I am not sure it was a relaxing trip, but he had fun!

A Day at the Beach

We took the girls to the Beach in May. Poppy talked them into getting their feet wet. That water was cold!

Daddy's girls...

Fun Pictures of the Girls

Here are just some fun pictures of the girls:

On a nice, sunny day at Madison Park.

Enjoying the beach at Alki with the Seattle skyline in the background.

Superstars!

Cory took the girls to the local playfields and introduced them to the game of soccer.

Neville Cabin

In April we spent a weekend with the Neville family at their cabin. Siena and Sydney had a lot of fun playing with Isabella.

Here is Sydney being her usual crazy self.

Siena and Sydney had fun "hiking" and climbing on large rocks.

Even the dads had fun climbing on giant boulders.

Here is a picture of Isabella and Siena enjoying the outdoors. A couple of natural born hikers.

Crazy kids!

Easter 2009

The Stewart Family visits the Easter Bunny!

For Easter this year we had fun going to the "Bunny Blast" at our local Fire Station. We participated in some arts and crafts, had our picture taken with the Easter Bunny, and Siena even had her face painted!

I believe Siena would have her face painted everyday if she could!

The Girls - Constant Entertainment

Sydney chose to stuff her shirt full of toys and balls one day. We don't know why, but it was funny!

Siena thought that putting her fish crackers on "Rody's" head was very funny.

Often, we just don't know what these girls are thinking! We just sit back, watch, and laugh!

We had more than usual snowfall this year. At least the girls always enjoy it!
