Whistler Vacation

The whole family had fun in Whistler this year. We were particularly lucky in that our good friends, the Evans Family, were able to visit Whistler at the same time we did. The guys had fun golfing together, the kids had fun playing together, and the adults all had fun treating ourselves to a morning at the spa getting massages while the four kids wore down the two nannies we hired! Here are some of the highlights:

We began our vacation with a stop in Bellingham to have breakfast with David Gilbertson - Cory's favorite college professor (despite the A- he gave Cory on one of his accounting exams).

Siena and Sydney had fun getting out and about each day.

Despite a few delightful moments with both girls screaming in the chariot Cory pulled behind his bike, there were at least a couple smiles on the day we went for a bike ride.

Our bike ride allowed us to visit a number of different lakes in the area. Here is a cute father/daughter moment.

Siena was excited to ride on a pony ("Little Chief") all by herself!

Sometimes it is amazing that Sydney is able to survive Siena's sisterly "love." Especially when it comes in the form of a strangle hold around her neck when they are coming down a slide!

Siena and Sydney had fun playing in the sand every chance they got.

What is a vacation without some ice cream? Especially when you can enjoy it with your friends, Nathan and Alivia!

Siena was excited to play with her new pool toy - a floating crab that was bigger than her!

Golf, golf, and more golf! Siena and Sydney enjoyed their first experience with put-put golf. And Cory and Dave were able to sneak away a couple times to enjoy 18 holes at some nearby courses.
